Brief info
Rose has a vast experience in mentorship and coordination with her experience gained from Maikiaro and Enkinda secondary schools where she worked as a teacher and coordinator for different programs within the schools. Rose provides guidance and support to help the secondary school girls navigate academic, personal, and social challenges, fostering their self-confidence and personal development. She closely collaborates with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to ensure the holistic development and empowerment of girls while advocating for gender equality and inclusivity within the school environment. She has a Diploma in food science and processing technology from Mt. Kenya University and worked at Novel Bakery as a production supervisor and quality assurance officer, which instilled in her strong work ethic. Rose continues to learn additional skills as she works with Hitaji Development Initiative team members.
