Brief info
Angela is a teacher by profession and she has taught in several schools like Nyakach Girls’ Secondary School, Kanga Boys High School, Manyatta Secondary School, Rapogi Secondary School, Ulanda Girls’ and Mixed Secondary School and Akuku Girl’s Secondary School. She retired from the teaching profession back in 2018 and currently, works as the Manager in the Office of the Women Representative of Migori County Government.
She graduated with B.ED (Arts) subject combination English and Christian Religious Education at the University of Nairobi. She also holds a Diploma in Education Management from Kenya Institute of Management. Currently, she is undertaking a Masters degree in Education Psychology at Rongo University.
She believes that it is wise to ensure that the girl child and young women are empowered and equipped with relevant skills and knowledge in the community so as to prevent early pregnancies and school dropouts.
